Ukulele Jam on St. Patrick’s Island
Are you a basement guitarist? Do you jam with YouTube more than your pals? All acoustics are welcome at this jam session with the Calgary Association of Lifelong Learners! Runs every Thursday in July at Confluence Plaza on St. Patrick’s Island. Bring your music stand and the OnSong app, if you have it.

HIGH FITNESS
Aerobics is back! Bigger, better, HIGHer! This class is first-come, first-served with a capacity of 30 participants. Bring good sneakers and a water bottle. HIGH Fitness will run on the deck of the EV Experience Centre every Friday from June 7 - September 13 (weather dependent).

MARKET COLLECTIVE SUMMER TAKEOVER AT THE ST. LOUIS
Come one, come all, come all summer long! Between June and August, Market Collective will be set up at the historic St. Louis Hotel in East Village. Attendees can expect to see 13 local artisans, food trucks, art installations, DJs, and musicians. This event is family-friendly.

Beach Saturday on St. Patrick’s Island
Is there anything better than a summer day at the beach? Trout Beach, that is! Every Saturday this July we're kicking back by the water for afternoons full of fun and relaxation. We'll have beach chairs set out for you to soak up the sun, and Family Freezed will be on site selling ice pops to help you cool down. Add some beach balls and games from our team, and you’ve got the perfect summer afternoon.

Zero Waste Festival
Join Plastic Free YYC at this interactive, fun festival focused on reducing waste and leading a low-waste lifestyle. Come learn about sustainable living from expert speakers, connect with innovative businesses bringing us plastic-free solutions, and join the growing community of people looking to reduce their waste and impact on our world.

URBAN BARK MEET-UP
Meet up with Rhonda from BARK every Sunday for a 45-60 minute walk around the neighbourhood alongside a whole motley crew of four-legged (and two-legged!) friends. Treats will be available for both humans and doggos. From June 9th to September 15th.

In this Calgary Public Library program, teens will develop their HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills and build cool stuff in the browser. They’ll play with colour, blend modes, images, animation, and layout! Teens can bring their own laptop or borrow one of the Library’s Chromebooks. In partnership with InceptionU.

14th Annual Folk Boot Camp — How to Skin, Colour, and Devour a Song
Songs will be pulled apart and studied so students can create songs that will be worked on as a class. The idea is to create fresh material with new tools and push people to explore different ways of songwriting. Bring instruments to play (mainly guitars). A laptop to play and study songs would be good. Bring an open mind and a willingness to work and write during the sessions.

Brew Ed: July/August Session
This 4-week course is presented by The Brewer's Apprentice and instructed by Alberta Beer Festival's head judge, David Nuttall. Each class will cover a different topic, such as the histories of different beer styles, what makes a good brew, how beer is made and its many ingredients.
