Murder Mystery Dinner: Murder Under the Mistletoe

Murder Mystery Dinners at Fort Calgary are an interactive evening featuring fabulous food and entertainment that will have you laughing all night long. You'll interact with the actors and take your best guess at 'who done it', all while enjoying a locally sourced dinner buffet.

NMC ON: After Hours with Daedelus and guests

Pull out your dancing shoes, because National Music Centre will be turning down the lights and turning up the tunes at NMC ON: After Hours. This popular late-night series returns with performances by Daedelus, Ouri, Dane, Korea Town Acid, and The Outlier. Visitors can expect an immersive experience including pop-up bars, a silent disco, interactive installations, and music experiments.

Sidewalk Citizen Tzavta #38

Tzavta – the Hebrew word for the act of sitting together, sharing food and conversation among friends – is a monthly cultural salon hosted by Sidewalk Citizen Bakery. For each salon, Sidewalk Citizen creates an intricate hearty meal in honour of the speaker, inspired by their passion, taste, heritage or whim. On November 18, Sidewalk Citizen will host architectural historian and author Despina Stratigakos for a conversation moderated by Damon Hayes.

Red Dress Campaign Workshop

Learn about the national epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada through the teachings and support of Elders and trained staff. You will create a miniature felt red dress in honour of these women. These dresses will then become part of a large installation to be exhibited at various Library locations throughout the city.
