East Village HQ has been packed up for the season. It’s time to pull out your winter gear, but don’t worry, we’ve lined up programming to warm your hearts and warm your hands.
East Village HQ is where good times begin.
In East Village we do things a little differently. We upcycled a shipping container and turned it into a true headquarters – a place to organize, synchronize, familiarize and personalize. Find us on RiverWalk, neighboured by the iconic Simmons Building, we’re open Fridays 3-7pm, Saturdays & Sundays 10am-4pm.
Come to East Village HQ to get your hands on some EV Merch, pick up a map to the neighbourhood, connect with EAST team, or get lost exploring with EV Marks the Spot, our summer-long scavenger hunt!
Whether you’ve never set foot in East Village or you can’t stay away, East Village HQ is where you come to start the adventure.
EV MERCH
EV Merch is a line of wearables and wares that celebrates our city and each product was uniquely created in partnership with local artists and entrepreneurs. All proceeds from sales go to CARYA’s Village Commons Community Kitchen.
From honey made by East Village bees from The Hive, to socks made by Friday Sock Co that showcase the iconic neon signs of East Village to an epic colouring/activity book that will have you exploring every corner of Calgary, EV Merch has a little bit of everything for everyone.

EV MARKS THE SPOT
EV Marks the Spot is an all summer-long scavenger hunt that will have you exploring all corners of East Village and winning great prizes.
How to play:
1. SCAN
Scan the QR code at East Village HQ located on RiverWalk beside the Simmons building
2. SOLVE
Solve the riddle to find the “EV Marks the Spot” decal that’s hidden in East Village.
3. SHARE
Share the code word on the decal with the crew back at East Village HQ and pick your prize
