We sure do love this city. With so many amazing initiatives taking place—and so many incredible Calgarians stepping up to the plate—we’re dedicating our East Village social media channels to sharing local good news stories. You can get in on the positive vibes, too!

What are you seeing in your own backyard and online community? We want to hear about the good Samaritan who delivered groceries, the fitness studio offering online workouts, your friend who babysat the kids for an hour, the local musician streaming performances, or your condo neighbour playing the trumpet on their balcony.

Tell us about the positive things you’re spotting using #GoodNewsYYC—we’ll share your stories and add our own posts about the good happening in EV and beyond. A few examples (out of hundreds) include Calgary Co-op's care packages for those in quarantine, free digital resources from Calgary Public Library, and three live workouts per day with CrushCamp.
