Campers Village Outdoor Expo and Festival

On September 27th, 30 of your favourite outdoor brands will descend onto St. Patrick's Island for the Campers Village Outdoor Expo & Family Festival. There will be games & contests, over $10,000 in prizes, free hot dogs, free product demos, education stations, scavenger hunts, ultimate campsite set-up tours, and more.

Fort Calgary Presents: Black & White Movie Night

September Feature: The Manchurian Candidate (1962)

The Hat East Village Open House

Want all the fun of living in EV without the commitment? Leasing for The Hat East Village – our neighbourhood’s first purpose-built rental project – is now underway! Doors Open YYC

On September 28 and 29, explore some of Calgary’s most intriguing and beloved sites through the 8th annual Doors Open YYC. During these days, buildings in all quadrants of the city open their doors – free of charge – to the public to provide special tours and behind-the-scenes experiences. 2019 East Village locations include the St. Louis Hotel, Central Library, the Castell Building (former Central Library and current home of UCalgary’s School of Architecture, Planning & Landscape), and Alt Hotel.

Bookmark Unveiling at Loft 112

Join poet Rosemary Griebel on September 28th as Alberta’s first Bookmark is unveiled for her poem, “Walking with Walt Whitman Through Calgary’s Eastside on a Winter Day,” which is set in East Village.

A one-of-a-kind Canadian innovation, Project Bookmark Canada is a nation-wide trail of the country’s literature, encouraging residents and visitors to read their way across Canada.

Alberta Culture Days featuring the Calgary Civic Symphony

Enjoy FREE activities at Studio Bell with the Calgary Civic Symphony on September 29 in celebration of Alberta Culture Days.
