Drop in to Loft 112 over your lunch break for the March edition of Long Lunch/Quick Reads. Erin Emily Vance will bring her new poetry collection: ‘Someday I Will No Longer Write Poems About You: Poems About My Family’.

Drew Gregory at King Eddy

Award-winning country artist Drew Gregory is taking over the King Eddy stage for a night of classic, true-to-life country.

Alien Puppet Pop-up Workshop at Central Library

Calgary Public Library is pleased to participate in this year’s Festival Of Animated Objects (March 13-17, 2019) with this fun puppet-making workshop! Drop by the Questionarium on the second floor of the Central Library to make your own flexible alien from sponge foam and bric-a-brac. There will be helping hands on deck to assist with the fabrication, but you have to bring your imagination!

Blacklight Painting at Raw Canvas

Ever painted in the dark? Raw Canvas is turning off the overheads and turning on the blacklights in this fun, late-night class. With music pumping to get your creativity flowing, you’ll make your own blacklight painting in vibrant, neon paints.

Nat King Cole 100th Birthday Celebration: Jens Lindemann & Matt Catingub with an all-star big band

The National Music Centre is pleased to present Jens Lindemann and Matt Catingub with an all-star big band. This international jazz supergroup will perform the music of one of the greatest entertainers in history on the occasion of his 100th birthday.
