Camp Hoo-Ha Juniors: Self Defence
Camp Counsellors from Empowerment Inc. will teach attendees how to protect and defend themselves, use the power of their voice, and a few moves to get out of a scary movie style attack. Tickets include dinner, 2 drinks, self defence presentation, a badge and craft.

October Long Lunch/Quick Reads
Loft 112 invites you to their literary lunch gathering on October 18. This month's Long Lunch/Quick Reads is a collaboration between an artist and a poet. Enjoy the beautiful art of Stacey Walyuchow and the poetry it inspired, written by Erin Emily Vance. Brewer's Bracket: Born Colorado vs Railyard
The Brewer’s Apprentice is proud to share their tasting space with friends and local craft breweries, Born Colorado and Railyard. It’s beer against beer, brewery against brewery – but in all honesty, it’s just damn fun. Participants will receive 3 x 4oz samples in a flight from each brewery. All attendees will get 10% off a growler fill after the guided tasting.

Home Espresso Essentials with Phil & Sebastian Coffee Roasters

Act on Climate: Steps to Individual, Community, and Political Action
Are you concerned about climate change? Would you like to learn how to address and respond to this challenge? If so, this course is for you. Together in a study group, participants in this class will complete the University of Michigan's online course, "Act on Climate: Steps to Individual, Community, and Political Action".
